<p>Know one knew the meaning of Rosebud and neither did I. I liked the movie, but would not consider it to be the best of the best (#1 on the AFI’s 100 Movies). The story was engaging, the characters interesting, and the dialog at times was very witty. For a 1941 movie, the special effects and make-up was exceptional.</p>
<p>An interesting fact, Steven Spielberg bought the sled, “Rosebud”, for $60,500. Well’s response, “I thought we burned it…”1</p>
